Having a scan and being able to see your baby's face before it is born is a unique experience and it adds to bonding with your baby during pregnancy. Using the very latest technology we can produce extremely realistic 3D images of the baby's face in the womb as well as other parts such as the hands and feet. Ultrasound is a perfectly safe thing to perform during pregnancy, after all, whales communicate over thousands of miles using powerful ultrasound. Oxley Medical Practice has been established for five years. We are a General Practice with a full complement of Primary Care staff and services. There are several doctors working the Practice, Dr. Jones is the full time GP. We specialise in Ultrasound scanning and family planning. We do two sessions of contraception clinics in evenings which are open to all residents of Wolverhampton and indeed when the UK. Ultrasound scanning however is limited in provision on the NHS to those people who live in Wolverhampton. We are quite prepared to do private scanning for those who do not fit criteria for NHS scanning. We take on patients to live in Wolverhampton and Staffordshire postcode areas and still have some places on our NHS list for patients who wish to join.
